Am I too Old?

Never! Age is less about the number and more about your mindset. I’ve had the opportunity to work with people of all ages and abilities, and can tell you it’s never too late to begin.

Practicing martial arts helps to increase mobility, build strength, and improve flexibility—while boosting energy, confidence, and overall health. Wherever you’re starting from, we’ll help you move forward!

What do I wear?

When you come to your first class, it’s best to wear clothes that you can sweat in and feel comfortable while moving around. We recommend athletic wear such as a moisture-wicking shirt or light long-sleeve and shorts or athletic pants.

Is Practice in a Gi or No-Gi?

We welcome you to dress however is most comfortable and appropriate for you to train. Most of the techniques we go over have variations that can be applied to both. We recommend getting the most out of your training by practicing in both gi and no gi.

Do You Manage fighters?

As a coach, I simply do not have the time nor interest in managing fighters. There are a lot of resources available online, however all we do is provide the coaching. Fighters & aspiring fighters are welcomed, as we all follow the Golden Rule here.

Will you teach me to fight?

We will teach you to develop better awareness of your surroundings, have confidence in your skills, and to know that you don’t have always have to fight your way out of trouble.

If you do have to fight, you will know how to defend yourself.
